Yes, it is slightly different to the PM, when dry, flaky bits of skin and redness or blemishes on the skin can go unnoticed.

In my opinion, the daytime calls for a slightly less intense shade that will have you looking more 'fresh faced' than 'fresh out of the nightclub'.

1. Apply  Mecca Cosmetica's Kissable Lips Smoothing Lip Exfoliant with your finger and then rub lips together. This stuff is the work of a genius. It not only helps to remove rough skin but also conditions your lips with shea butter, cocoa butter and sweet almond oil. Thou shalt never apply lipstick without it from this day forth!

2. Conceal your entire lip area (over and around your lips) to even out any discolouration and create a good base for lipstick. This will make your whole look a lot more polished.

3. Lightly press a bright lipstick onto lips and rub them together. This makes it look more like a stain, rather than creating a harsh line. I've been using Model Co's Party Proof range. I skip lip liner during the day as I like a more natural look.

Easy peasy!
