There's a whole new world out there if you look on the bright side.
Today we're talking about breaking up with black (just for a day or two, of course).
Winter. Leaves you feeling cold, sun-deprived, and completely unadventurous in the wardrobe department.
A great black coat is an essential winter piece, but when you throw it on every time you leave the house, things start to look a bit same/same, regardless of what you wear underneath it.
So lately I've been exploring other options that are just as versatile and still follow my rules for a perfect wardrobe...
Cue... the neutral trench coat, white boyfriend jeans and cream camisole.
I absolutely love the softness of this trench from Seed Heritage. It just... hangs. Which is exactly what I want my coats to do. It's also the perfect transeasonal piece.
It may be semi-freezing in Sydney at the moment, but we all know I have a bit of an obsession with mules, and I will bare my toes in winter for amazing mules like these.
Tan shoes help to tie everything together when you're going for a lighter colour palette. I love the combination of tan suede and white denim. Oh, and I got a grey pedi.
Wearing trench coat, camisole, boyfriend jeans and heels from Seed Heritage.
How do you wear lighter colours in winter? Knits? Denim? I want to know! x
