The easiest fail-safe outfit ever.

You = 1, wardrobe dilemmas = 0.

There's a recipe for outfit success, and it goes something like this:

A boyfriend blazer + basic tee or tank + great black pants + sneakers = nailed it.

That's been my vibe lately, and it makes those mornings when you wake a feeling totally uninspired in the wardrobe department just a little bit easier.

It's winter down under, but this outfit is definitely transeasonal - just swap the pants for shorts or light denim and opt for a lightweight blazer and you're good to go.

See, I told you it was easy.

Nouveau navy.

It's time to make friends with colour again.

Ok, let's not get carried away.

By ‘colour’ I’m talking the more muted variety - navy, nude, khaki… the kind of colours that almost double as neutrals because they go with pretty much everything.

And at the moment, I’m all about navy. There’s just something so luxe about it (plus it’s way kinder on a winter complexion for those of us down under!).

Mix it back with your whites, greys, or blacks, or wear it colour-blocked head-to-toe like this.

I love the dramatic shape of this skirt, and the texture in the fabric helps to break it all up.

Pair it with fresh white kicks and you’re pretty much Parisian.

Excellent.

The new way to wear sneakers.

Fix up, look sharp.

Ok, we all know I have a sneaker obsession. I wear them everywhere, with everything.

Fresh white Adidas Superstars probably make you think blue denim, an oversized knit... weekend vibes... and you're not wrong.

That's definitely one way to wear them, but at the moment I'm all about dressing them up.

Pair your sneakers with a crisp suit, a leather jacket, or a cocktail dress like this for something different. I love the contrast it creates, and sneakers just have a way of making everything look 10 x cooler instantly.

What to wear with flares

4 tips for getting it right.

Excited to share part two of my collaboration with SABA to celebrate their 50 year anniversary.

I was in love with these flares as soon as I saw them because they're just the right width.

Flares are something I usually struggle with. I always put them in the ‘too hard’ basket because I couldn’t figure out how to wear them casually - a heel seemed mandatory, and heels are just hard work in general.

So I decided to challenge that theory in this post.

These 4 tips make it easy to wear flares anywhere:

WEAR SOMETHING DRAPED OR VOLUMINOUS ON TOP

This balances-out the flare and makes it clear that you’re going for the whole ‘voluminous proportions’ thing.

LONGER LAYERS

I personally find that shorter tops emphasise all the wrong things. A longer top or dress will create interesting layers.

WEAR FLATFORMS

You get the best of both worlds - a little height boost with the comfort of flats #winning. P.S. I’m all about these loafers.

FIND YOUR FLARE

There all all different widths and shapes. You need to find one that works for your shape and height. I love these because they aren’t too over the top, so you can wear them more often.
